43 Things

Hello everyone! If yall are confused about my last post "How to Graduate College" its because I stumbled upon a site I joined a few years back called 43Things. I decided to link it to my blog because I want to utilize all these cool things on the net.

About 43Things.com it's a website that allows you to create a dream/to-do life list. Because as most of you know, sometimes you need a check off list to get things done (it's kind of a first step to getting things done), or so you feel like you're accomplishing something as you see the check-marks appear. After you've made a list you can see how many others are working towards a similar goal and encourage each other, or get advice and tips from those who have already accomplished it. It's a pretty neat site, so I thought I would link it with my blog so maybe it can inspire my readers/fellow bloggers. It probably won't, but at least it will give you insight into some of my past goals =P

Well as I said before I stumbled upon it and now I'm starting to check some stuff off that i've accomplished. So you might see a few more "How to" posts =P

How to graduate college

"It was difficult, and frustrating but I'm glad I did it!"

How I did it: It took a LOT of hard work and determination.  I thought about quitting several times.  But i'm glad I didn't.  I received my Associate's degree in Information Technology and it landed me a job doing tech support for restaurants!  (comes with free food benefits!)

Lessons & tips: + Choose a major in something you already know you love doing it will help when the going gets tough.

+ Take your gen. ed. classes along with some of your major specific classes. It will make them more bearable

It took me 2 years.

It made me Happy!

Long Time No Post...

Well long time no post! I'm supposed to be working on bills balancing the checkbook, or that's what I told my wife I was going to do =P but then I remembered I have a blog that I haven't posted on in forever!!!

So yeah, as most everyone that knows me knows that I got married on May 28th! YAY!!! And I must say it's been a crazy ride! We've been married 6 months and 2 days now, and I've enjoyed every minute of it!

I just started work back today =( after a long awaited vacation over this Thanksgiving weekend. Bethany and I went to the beach with her family, so that was fun =) Although vacations never last long enough... go figure...

Yesterday Ethan (brother) and I put the Christmas lights on the house. It's pretty awesome and weird experiencing everything with my own house for the first time (gotta say, Love being married btw ^_^). Anyway the lights are blue! And I still haven't determined whether or not I'll have to take two sets down and return them or not... cause when we put them up they were working, we went to Target to get two more sets (didn't buy enough last year), came back, put them all up and a few sections weren't working. So we tried changing bulbs and still didn't work, wiggled the cord around and they would flash on, so I guess it has a short in it... but this morning I went out to turn them off and they were working! so I guess I'll wait 'til tonight to see if they will continue working or not.

well I guess I better get started on the bills before the wife gets done watching a movie =P

Life.is.Great!

How's it going everyone, I know I know. I keep saying I'll write more often but I never get the chance to.

Well tomorrow is my last day of finals for this semester then I have about 1 1/2 weeks of break before summer classes start. I'm hoping to get my car washed sometime during this small break, cause it needs it...bad. =P

But yeah, life is going great! there's some bumps in the road here and there, but it's all worth it, I wouldn't trade it for anything. =)

I'm still alive!

Hey everyone, yes I'm still alive =P
there's been a lot going on lately:
school, having a bunch of tests and homework.
work has been stressful and frustrating lately.
and a lot of family and personal stuff going on too.
but I am finding and keep reminding myself God is still there during this chaos, guiding and directing me.

so yeah. just wanted to let yall know I'm still alive and haven't fallen off the face of the earth, yet =P

hopefully once I get some of these things straightened out I'll be able to post more regularly.

Yeah Rekindle 09 was really good. I think the Lord met a lot of people there =)

I'm Back!

Well this is going to be short =P but I just wanted to let yall know I'm back from Rekindle 09! It was Awesome!!! and right now I'm pretty much the Happiest man on earth =P so yeah. I'm tired, it's good to be back! maybe I'll post some pics from Rekindle soon!
